Technical Terms:

PIPS is a compilation of original mail art works by networkers, mail artists and experimental poets.

Each edition (3 per year) has it's own theme. The number of pieces sent in by each contributtions corresponds with the year, i.e. in 1997 the number of contributions are 97, in 1998 the number are 98 etc.

Each edition presents 40 artists/authors from various countries. Only original works (no plain photocopies) and so far unpublished texts are accepted. The works should be signed and numbered (1/97, 2/97 ... 97/97).

The works should immediately fit into the PIPS box. Maximum format is 210x300x30 millimetre (A4). Larger pieces should be folded into an appropriate format. Works which are sharp, pointed or smudging should be wrapped so they don't damage the contents of the box.

Every contributors get one box of the edition.
